..I have the washing machine set to "hot" and "large load", but when I "Use" the dishwasher to turn it on, it says "Its not on".

A-hA! Yes! It worked now, there was something wrong before because I tried switching the washingmachine to large load but it didnt move, maybe it was me doing something wrong.

You need to get into the Dojo first.

How do you open the hatch?  (my inventory: excalibur, sponge, knife, bra, newspaper, hanger, ).

I cannot 'grease' the sponge on stew (too hot), cannot start dishwasher (it's not on), cannot get my brother out of bathroom, cannot send my mother upstairs and get the cat in kitchen,

so far I managed to get the cane and give it to grandpa but cannot find his hearing aid.  I got the washing machine running, cannot get ketchup or napkins (I suppose to use on construction worker), cannot get glue gone.

I'm just going around in circles but without getting ahead.

Can anyone help?  I have read the 2 pages of 'hints' but cannot do anything. :'(

Thanks.  I had started reading that forum but thought it was only to report bugs or to compliment the author, so I never read through the 4 pages.

I am a bit confused though.  Shouldn't all these questions/hints be in the 'hints' forum?  I would never have thought of looking there.  Is it the same for every game or was that unusual?

Again I thank you, I really enjoy this game even if I get stuck quite often

I read that there is a small 'tab' under the bottons of the dishwasher I must have spent at least 3-4 hours messing (using) with the dishwasher with no success.   Could this be a bug?  I have tried the bottons on the left then the ones on the right, above the stew.  Could anyone give me a precise spot so that I can go on with the game

So many of you have completed this game so I guess you did not get stuck with the dishwasher.    Does it make a difference if I got the washing machine working first?   Do I have to use the dryer also after I got the quarter?

I am getting so frustrated.

Thank you SOO  MUCH   I just could not see that tab. I think the more you look at something the less you see it.

Now I'm still stuck:

I got my brother out of shower but he won't give me the hearing aid unless I get him some brownies and I know grandpa will give me $$$ after I give him his hearing aid!!!!

I can't get the secret ingredient for the brownies unless I give the guy in the park something from Fitness shop.  I cannot buy anything.... I don't have $$$$.  So cannot buy hotdog and get ketchup and napkin.

I can't exchange junk food with gameguy for his cooler....

I can't get the cat in kitchen, get grandma out and get brownies because they are not done.

I went into fitness shop, gave my free pass, but cannot go nowhere and will not use the fitness ball?

I might be missing just one thing but I don't know what

And how do get walkie-talkie???

I'm telling you, I love this game, but I'm completly stuck.

I'm also stuck on that game! Fine and a few - at least are funnyÃ,  - bugs, bug a phenomenal one and with really tough puzzles, as they've been too well conceived and "linked".

I couldn't get

that $1 grandpa will give you - to buy hotdog -, as I couldn't get coffee for grandma, or hearing unit for grandpa: cookies for annoying bro, but don't have tyhem yet.
Couldn't get doorstep from dojo, as I don't have that damned $1 to get ketchup to use on worker, to get his glue machine (to use on fitness center), and his walkie talkie to use on vent to distract judo instructor and finally get that doorstep. And so on!

GE, this game reminds me Day of the Tentacle, when a single wrong step would ruin the entire progression on the game! And even knowing WHAT you must do, you still do not knowing HOW to perform - some - of the tasks!

Here's what I already managed to get:

Eg got cd player, and batteries. Got cane. Got bro's sponge and robe. Opened Dojo's vent and entered in. Got seeds from guest room sunflower, used them with Knuckles, and mom is now upstairs.

Go to fitness center.  Look at the sign on table for the Kaboom.   Open newspaper, should have the ad for free sample. Give ad to instructor.   Get free sample of Kaboom and use it on the guy in the park.   Pick-up chocolate/caffiene that is in drink holder.   Give this to Grandma.  She will start making the brownies then.     If i remember correctly, I think you can grease the sponge at this point.  You next need to work at getting her out of the kitchen which involves using the doorstop from Dojo.  Maybe the other hints will help you at this point.

Ok Primus.  You got in Dojo.  Push chair and get door stopper.
If you activated the washing machine and dishwasher to 'hot' and 'scrub', then you go back upstairs and talk to brother.  He will finally leave the shower.

I missed the part about 'opening the newspaper' maybe now I will go a little further in the game.

How did you get the bathrobe?  and why do you need it? and where did you get the batteries?

batteries: open cd player twice. Maybe's a red herring, don't know yet. Cd player is at gameshop, if you managed to turn tv on already.
robe: one shower curtain in bathroom. Use it at dojo somehow, don't know how yet.
