Yo minimi - i'm considering using your wooden gui in a cowboy game - that's cool isn't it?
Of course you will get full credit.
I just can't be bothered to make my own!


EDIT: this should probably go in the tech forum - but perhaps i can get a quick fix here.....
I downloaded your cool wooden gui - but i'm dumb and don't know how to put it in a game - i have added it to gui list - so it's on the ags engine - and when i start my game the 'new game' 'load game' screen comes on - but there's no gui at the bottom of my game when i play... any ideas?

It's cool to here someone is going to use my GUI in his game! It's good ofcourse... with credit Here is some things that could help you out!

- The only problem I can think of, is that you are using 320x200 resolution. I made this one for 320x240, so it appears at 200 till 240. If you want to show it, set the Y-position of 0:WOODGUI, to "160"!

furthermore, you could just delete 2:INTRO if you have no use of it.
and also, if you don't want to show the gui at a certain point, type as action

GUIOff(0);

or...
GUIOn(0);

Now all i gotta do ius resize my b.g's  ... damn - one more thing... how do i change the credits to tell people info on the game ( don't worry - you'll still be on there!)
I'm guessing it'll be some kinda script - i'm pretty new at scripting... very new actually!

P.S I know this shoulda been on tech forum - but the first half of conversation was on this thread anyway - so sorry!!

Goto "GUIs", and click the edit script. In that script you see somewhere written the phrases between "", like "Graphics : Johnny Odd" ... so just change the text between there.

Bytheway, you do not HAVE to resize your backgrounds. You could also make that the GUI is hidden, and when the mouse is on the bottom, it pops up. I'll see if I can edit this, and private message you about it
