While I was reading a cult slovene comic it sudenly struck me.  No one has ever made a game about these guys. I mean we games of garfield, mickey mouse, donald duck, goofy, super man, bat man, etc.
But not a single game was made of the adventures from Trdonja, Zvitorepec and Lakotnik.
Zvitorepec (could be tranlated as Sly)
Trdonja (don't laugh now. The best translate I could find was Hardy)
Lakotnik (Now I couldn't find a translate for this but maybee Hungry one)
Before I go and make a game I would just like your opinion if I got the characters right.
here are the pics and the original art:

Look good... only problems seem to be the feet, as blackbird mentioned, and the turtle appears to be flattened a bit horizontally (possibly from resizing?).  Nice job, your work seems to be very close to the original characters.

really beautiful characters! they look very similar to the original ones from the comics! good work. :)

just a few points to critisize: as it was already mentioned the feet of the second character are looking perspectively wrong, maybe you should change the right one to show more of its front - pay attention to the relation between feet and the way this creature stands. Then you probably see what I mean.

The first character has no ears - is this correct? The comic wolf (is it a wolf?) has in fact ears, I don't know if this was perhaps as you wanted it to look or if they're just missing at the game character.

Maybe you can fix that...

An additional point: The second character's other arm (the one that is not on the picture) would be somehow seen a bit in this perspective, at least a small part of the soulder. I got the impression it's just missing, is anyone else of this opinion too? The wolf (first character) has shorter arms and is somehow a little bit overweighted, so it's okay to leave his second arm out.

I'll try to fix the legs when I'm gona have time for it. As for the wolfs ears. He infact does not have ears. If you look closely that's his hair. On the first look you might mistake it for ears. But I have a whole stack of theese comics and he does not have ears in them. Maybe it just looks like that in this picture.

And I noticed a nother goof I made. The midle one (zvitorepec the FOX) has no tail.

I do think that the wolf HAS ears... these little "horns" at the side of his head standing up into the air, just as ears of some animals like cats, dogs and - of course - wolfs. The inside of these ears is not filled, so they might look like hair but on the two pictures you posted, you can imho see them. As you said it could be different on other pics, you know that much better than we do as you are obviously from slovenia where the comics are published, aren't you?

viktor

no no I'm prety sure that he dosn't have any ears. But If you wish I can make those horns so it will at least look like he has them...

the reason you never heard of the comic is that the comic was originaly released only in slovenia. Maybe even in austria, germani and probably in croatia to. But I'm not quite sure. If you wan't some info on the comics creator visit http://www.ijs.si/gallery/muster/
