Um...Why? Theres usually more then one way to do something. If a person sees solved they might not look at the thread when they actually have a beter way to do it.

Well, this has been discussed before, and there was also the idea to edit the post and change the thread's icon to once it has been solved.

I wish more people would do it.

Heh, no worries, this was the rare case where double-posting is okay to do. I guess.
