First Pixel art experiance!

It's me Lithium, I've changed my name again. I drew this pixel by painstaking pixel. Hopefully you like it. It is not for a game i am just practicing my art. Unfortunatly i couldn't save it as jpeg or gif.

Please explain what are you trying to archieve and we'll be able to say how to improve it... Actually, I donloaded the sprite to make a paintover but I didn't know where to start... is he chinese, a homeless?

He is a chinese peasant worjing on his fathers farm. Unfortunatly his father is killed by a criminal because he showed disrespect towards him. I'm thinking about turning this into a game. Maybe...

i added shading, i got rid of the black out lines and changed the shoes,

i hope i helped you out in some way or another

I kinda like it with the black outline - very entertqining to look at - Kinda Where's Wallyish - a whole game like this would be very entertaining to see and play - I wouldn't change much at all.

Do the second guy like the first and you may be on to something.
