Searched, and couldn't find anything related to this. I scripted a GUI Slider for volume control, which works fine. The only problem is, there isn't much of a change in the volume. I was wondering if it's possible to change the intervals by which the slider handle moves at. If not, I think I know another way, but it's a lot harder...

I don't know the answer, i just wanted to say its a great idea!

Well my other idea would be to set the min and max at the appropriate values, and then change the code to when the minus key is pressed it sets the value to -1/9 of the max... But if there's a way to just change the interval... I'm pretty sure that would be easier. I think. What do I know.*

*Not a question. Or is it.

Mr Jake

which volume are you using? there are two, there wasnt much of a change in the volume of mine first when I worked on one, then I noticed I wasn't really using the correct variable.

SetMusicMasterVolume... Is this the wrong one?

monkey0506

So is this the wrong volume control or what?

Ben

I don't think the music master volume has much of a range anyway. Even at its lowest value (where you'd expect it to turn off) it's still audible.

Nevermind. This problem was a lot easier to fix than I thought. I had set the max volume to 100 (the highest value a slider can hold) just to get a hearable volume. Then I needed 9 different sections on the slider, and a significant change in volume. So, I changed the min value from 91 to 27, the max from 100 to 99, and changed the script that said SetSliderValue(VOLUME, 0, GetSliderValue(VOLUME, 0)+1); to SetSliderValue(....(...)+9); And the -value from -1 to minus 9. See, easy!

you know monkey.... you can get into a lot of trouble with 'your claimed' monkey island 5 website, being that it is a deliberate attempt to fool the user into thinking they are at the actual lucasarts website. for your own sake, take it down, and make your own site, not a page for page copy of lucasarts.com
