i like this game but......i can't find anything to create a spell.  i have a flower, wax, rope,twig and something from the bar.(carbage). what to do?

Did you get the bowl that was sitting on the stool in Melrin's house? Read the recipe for the animal transformation spell first.  Also, check out one of the barrells before you get to the ship area.   You almost have all the ingredients for the first spell.

Now I am stuck!  Any hints about the Invisible Spell?  I have been able to create the Metal to Ice spell twice.  I have used it on the mountain cage but have been unable to break the gate.

i am stuck...again. now i am with the troll and angel . the door is locked and i can take 2 things. but then what?

Return to some areas such as where you first arrived on the island 2 or 3 times.  Also, look at some things like the pile of stones more than once.   One screen that is easy to miss is the one with the tar pit. It  is north of one of the paths.   You should soon have the ingredients needed for making the Metal to Ice spell.  Use it on the cage door.   The item needed to break the ice is found very close to where the egg was found.

Put the egg and the stone into the bowl.  Then right click on the bowl.  A window opens and you can then click "create a spell".     Select Metal to Ice as the spell that you want to create. This should work.   Then you can use this on the cage gate.  Then go back to where you found the egg.   There will be something to break the ice with.

Now I am still stuck at getting past the troll.  Have not been able to create the Invisible spell.

i think we have to make the fruit spell first. because with a lemon you can read invisable ink. but where can i get a twine and a hemp

I had one rope(or twine) that I got on the harbor near the ship before coming to this island.        I found another rope when I returned to the area where the ship landed.   I have already made the Wood to Fruit spell which created a lemon.  The Jewelry Retriever Spell calls for a lemon peel which may be my problem of getting that spell to work.
