Here's me getting run over by a carÃ,  :o :

And, a WIP, the local library:

EDIT: I decided NOT to show the first image. It's rather large. Also, kind of decieving. It should be "me after getting run over by a car" not "me getting run over by a car"...

EDIT II: Here's the original picture for the library:

Like I said, that first pic of the library is a Work in Progress...

That picture of the library is very cool. Its a nice technique in drawing semi-realistic backgrounds. It's a bit hard to comment on atm because it is unfinished and it is hard to tell what is real and what you have drawn and if you are going to change that. But it is a very good work in progress. I would make that sign a bit duller as it seems to stand out a bit much.

Keep up the good work.

The sky and the library and the sign are what I've done so far. (IE the grass and the cars are all that's really part of the original image(and all those little plaques)) I haven't worked on that in a few weeks or I'd probably be done witht the whole thing. I do plan to add the trees back in just in case you were wondering. I don't really know a good way of doing that with PS though, so I'm thinking I'll use ArtGem, because I know a decent technique with that. That's why I cut them out. And thanks for the compliment! I never would have thought to use noise to add texture. I knew you could use a lot of noise and a motion blur to create a semi-realistic wood texture, or maybe hair, but I never imagined to use it for something like this... And you can thank InCreator for the "technique in drawing semi-realistic backgrounds"... The link was just me playing around with some PS tools to see what they do. But I think that the library is coming along nice. It makes me feel better when someone else agrees before I voice my opinion. I believe I am my own worst critic, but I really do think it's coming along...
