QUEST FOR GLORY 4 1/2 - help please

I read another person's problem on this game.  Well, I got the same error message about "can't load graphics mode 320x200" and "resolution not supported."  You know, this isn't fair.  I also tried the DPMI thing in DosBox and even when I did get the file "csdpmi*b.zip", STILL no workie.  Sooo...please, anyone, if you are running this game, help us out--thanks.  I may not have the proper display drivers (my comp is a piece) but I dno, there may be a way around that???  I've tried "ways around" with other games, and THEY worked.  Well, QFG 4 1/2, that's the one I really want.
