Book of Spells Chapter I

Ok I am stuck! At the very end of the first chapter I am suppoused to open the lidwith the bar. But where do I find this bar? It's not in the forest and I looked all over the place and can't find it! HELP!! TIA!

Yes, I did that, but I didn't get any bar Ã,  And yes I checked the walkthrough and did everything it said
