Sammys quest trapdoor

Ok ive found in other threads that you have to open the trapdoor before you can get the wolf, but how do you do that ?
Is there a walkthough anywhere ?

You need a key for the trapdoor. I cant remember properly, but i think it was in the closet. Look in there.
