Terminal Department (New screenshot)

Hey everybody! I have been working on a adventure game that I call Terminal Department (I think I will change the name when I get it done... or not). I have a web site for it at http://koivula-games.port5.com

I'm still working with the story, but here is something I have come up:

You wake up in a strange corridor and you don't remember anything. Not even your name or your place of birth. Soon you find out that you don't really exist. You are just part of a computer game made by some mysterious man that people call The GameMaster. You know there is a real world out there and you wish you could go there. Rumor says that The One is in this game too. You start looking out for him and hope to find a way out... Unfortunately The One has something else in mind for you and for that game you are in.

Sounds a bit stupid I know but I'm working on it. I will release a demo as soon as I can.

Sounds nice This maybe interesting. I think you should add senses (like disappointment or courage) to make the story better if you're working on a sci-fi.

The premise doesn't sound bad, if you handle the story well.  I like the screenie, too.  Good luck with the game.

My only suggestion would be to rename the character "The One".  Sounds a little TOO Matrix-y which is weird, cause the overal plot is very Matrix-y.  Perhaps you should call him something like The Creator, or The Man.

Instead of "The One" (which is too much like The Matrix as Blackthrone said) you should call him something like OneZeroOne ... I mean, it does take place in a computer right?

How about just calling him Binary?

I quess I really should change the name (it really sounds like matrix). I'll let you know when I decide.

And yes it takes place in a computer. ( or at least should be)

Hey! I have decisided to rename the character the One as GameMaster (best I could come up with so if you have any succestions please tell me)! The storys hasn't changed yet (only The One's name). Anyway the game is going on well.  I quess I'll be able to release another screenshot soon. Don't know when the game will be released though.

If you have any other instructions to give I'm more than pleased to here them. (or if you think GameMaster is a terrible name and I should be changed again).
