This forum is good, it barely needs moderation, but even so I barely have any time to moderate this forum on a daily basis. Who would you like to see moderating this forum on a daily basis? You have a hundred words, and as many pictures as you wish... I'll have a chat0rs with CJ if there seems to be a popular person for the job.Ã,  8)

I dont see a need for a daily mod. You said it yourself, this forum is pretty good. I think Andail is sufficient.

In all honesty, this thread is the most off topic thread in a long while*. Most people that are common posters here know how to deal with off thread topics and new commers.

I don't really think a daily moderator would be needed. maybe when we reach 3000 members it might be a bigger deal. about who... Someone who's fair and sees things from different points of view, someone who can help newbies, because every newbie is a human being believe it or not.

i think i could be a moderator as i check the forums daily, especially these ones, but i dopnt think ive been around long enough to get enough people to listen to what i say.
i think someone like privateer pdding would be a good choice as he's often here and is always fair.

Oh, hold on; just because I went global moderator, doesn't mean the Critics lounge isn't still my pet forum
The last couple of weeks I've been quite busy, since I've both studies and work to attend to, but I check in on regular basis and do some cleaning and give some c&c.

And believe me, this forum do demand a lot of moderation, at least in periods. A good local moderator is always important.
A CL moderator also needs to be able to give plenty of c&c, and in all honesty, I'm not sure Mods did a sufficient job in that particular area No offense, Modsy, but I think you can agree with me there!

SSH is also right in a way; moderator-ships are usually handed out by way of recommendation, and not by self-proclamation.

An idea that just struck was that in terms of egality, wouldn't it be nifty with a female moderator? They have become quite plenty after all, those crazy gals.

Well, either way, I'm gonna go with whichever decision Mods takes on this one.

Pesty can make enough good crits to be the moderator, IMO... Dart is cool too, but I have the impression that she visits less the forums, but I may be wrong.

Well.. I haven't been here enough time to really recognize any members, but women are always hard to find in this kind of 'gaming' forums. I'd cast my vote for a female moderator too.

I'm not entirely sure if we should just focus on choosing a female mod.  I'm ... er ... very 'lovey' toward females, of course.  But, I think that it's important to think of any possible moderators, rather than choose only from the female ones, simply because of their gender.

In brief, let's just choose a mod that would do the best job.  If it happens to be female, great!

....Besides, the normal Members get to choose or vote, from what I understand.  Specific suggestions may help the Upper Folk to choose, though.

Well of course.

It's not enough that the moderator is woman, but she must also be capable of being a mod. That's what I ment    But I also said that I don't know all the active members here, so it 'could' be that she is capable of that all.
