Yeah, I wouldn't go there. The site has definate adware/spyware in it. (Plus I couldn't get a link to the file.)
I kept getting a 404.

EDIT: I'd say they are probably 2 or 3 forms of adware on that site.
So I'd recommend that you find a different site.

darn, i know there is a catch :'( :'( , hmm it was painless and easy to upload, befor that i searched many pages and free uploads pages etc, but didn't find any usefull for the size of 35 mb.. :'(

100 web space has on little problem, FILE SIZE IS ONLY 500kb, so 34 MB devided on 500kb, is not NOT nice number :'( , I tried all those pages from http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=17618.0 topic, but are all either not working or have other stupid limits...

Ah, so THAT was the catch on 100web...

Sektor, you could try http://12.22.230.41/MicroTech/FileHosting.html.

There's a limit - 10mbs. And if your server terminates the session before it's uploaded (which will result in a "That file doesn't exist!") error, you might have to chop it into even smaller pieces so as to upload faster... it might be the best option. That's how I uploaded my own game. Granted, my own is only 5Mbs... but still...

Can't say if there's any catch in it, but Lycos provides 50mb for free.

Great game. Played it and beat it.
I loved the story and the music ambience was cool.
I don't want to spoil any of it so just download it now

I uploaded the game to my website and I have 10 gb of bandwidth per month so I'm not too worried about downloads.

Also, as you can tell the above file is an EXE/Installer which was made with NSIS and compressed with LZMA technology.

Which did very very well and got it to just under 26 mbs. Also, don't worry about say something like regkeys, shortcuts, startmenu entries, or anything like that (I could have made them though). Nothing is installed except the game files in whatever directory YOU choose and an uninstaller file. That's it. You can delete the directory or use the uninstaller. It's up to YOU.

(I love NSIS - Nullsoft Installer System)

Btw, Sektor 13 why is the game EXE sooo large? Did you build a release version or a debug version?
(I think there is a size difference there)
about 80 mbs seems out of sorts to me but I'm just curious.

Also the game has at least two? easter eggs in game that I found

And yes there is a bunch of spelling mistakes but it isn't too bad to make the game hard just noticable.

EDIT: I also added another file that wasn't in the one that Sektor 13 sent me which is a Distro file that I made up so that people could read the important things before installing the game. I also added the ability to load the readme file, the setup/run game, or to open the directory after succesfully installing the game. If you open the readme, you can still run the setup. If you decide to run the setup, this bypasses the need to open the game directory part but if you skip the setup you can open the game directory. Or you can bypass all of it by answering No each time. It's all up to you

I dont know why the exe file so large, background images are in 640x480, so i guess this must be the reason....!? At first I started use DEBUG option, but later turned it off..

(Actually my friend send the file (because he has ADSL and I only have 56k

, i brought it to him in ordinary ZIP file, guess he changed it, i didn't know that, sorry..)

and the screens look great Sector 13, i like that kind of the games. Sci-Fi is my favorite theme, so i guess i will enjoy it alot.

Yeah, my server is doing some maintance to the server to fix up some issues that some people are having so it should be fixed later tonight I'd imagine. I'm glad Cyberion got it though.

I finally figured it out.

[/spoiler] I had the injection, but not the testubes, so I couldn't put the doctor to sleep. It's weird, because i must have clicked on the tubes about a dozen different times, before I actually was able to pick them up! [/unhide]

i like the game, it has its atmosphere, although i have to admit that Characters are almost the same look and doesn't look pretty well and detailed, same for Backgrounds... so probably there was no use to make the game in 640x400...
also i got really tired of endless picking up the "look" and "use" functions to do any action, but it's detailes.

In general the game is nice and worth playing for sure. I Liked the theme from StarShip Trooper (ahhh it's my favorite one), i guess it's music3.mp3.
If you do not pretend to see amazing graphics and ready to use not very comfortable control GUI, than go ahead, this game worth the look
