If I am to understand you......You got the Tshirt and then went and gave it to the man who is guarding the gate?  He does need it.  There was no bug in that game.  I played it so long ago, so I don't remember who Pib was......  But the Tshirt DOES go to the guy swinging the sword in front of the gate in the town.  The one who has no shirt on

You might have to do something else first.  Is the bird still on the wall?  You have to get the bird away (and I forget now how I did that) The bird will go and undo the awning at the horsetrack.

That do not have any importance. The guard/shirt puzzle is not tied at the bird and however i've make away the bird from the gate.
I repeat: i followed the walkthrough and the game is not responding like walkthrough, i would know if this is a bug or can be a reason depending on something that i've not done yet.

The game will keep on giving you that message untill it's the right time for you to give him the t shirt, and you've done all the things correctly up untill that point.
SO many people have played this game that i cant see it being a bug or it would of certainly of been spotted and sorted before now.
I suggest you go back through the walkthrough and treble check you've done 'everything'.

Ok, i'll retry tonight.
But's so strange, the game could be grant me to solve the puzzle independently by events before.
I could start the game, talk to Highwaywoman, learn about Foolkiller, talk to him, get the uniform and then get the T-Shirt without seeing centaurs, babe pirate and so on...
Best thing for all if this is not a bug.
I eventually can mail the .sav file by mail to someone who can check it

Ok, i made it  8)
The fact was thah you MUST talk with mens at race (simon and ticket seller) and know about the curse, or elsewere Pib will NEVER bring the t-shirt at Ollie.
That's a bit odd, you must admit... the race-puzzle and the shirt-puzzle are completely unchained in the narration of the story, could be not tied in mechanical way like that..

Anyway, GREAT GREAT adventure, mi hat is off to so talented creators  8)
