I was thinking the other day about creating another style of competition.
It would consist in puting some photos [not an sketch] about one place [a room, a street, a forest, ...] and people should make it an scenario for a room in AGS.
I think it's a good idea, but I don't know if that kind of competition exist.

We have a competition sort of like that- puzzle time. You're given a scene and a problem and you have to figure out a puzzle that would be the means to the end.  It seems sort of the same idea as your competition, but I might be misunderstanding.

No, it's not that.
With the photo you have to DRAW the room and make it Adventure-like.

so basically what you mean is somebody comes up with a photo and the rest of use just trace it? that's not very challenging and every entry would be near enough the same, i don't think it's a very good idea for a competition.

Oh, okay. I see where I got confused. A "scenario" is either a plot outline or a proposed sequence of events.  You probably meant to use "background" which is the word used for the main room art in an AGS game.

However, we do have the "From concept to finished product" competition, which is exactly like what you're planning, except that instead of a photo it's a loose sketch. It's a really sporadic competition- I think we've only had three since it was first proposed- but it's enjoyable when it's there.

No,no: what I meant was to post MULTIPLE photos from different angles and see how everybody selects a different view to draw the room.
