I need a spell checker

Be glad to do it, and sending you a mail, but why can't you just use the spell checker in word or some other word processor?

If it's just spelling, I'd suggest you just have it done automatically through Word, or whatever word processor you choose - if you're looking for an editor, however, that's a different story. What do you need spellchecked and/or potentially edited?

Someone may find the following prgrams handy.   Metapad is a great little text editor that works with both unix and dos text files.   Aspell is a handy spell checker for plain text files.  Dictionary files are available in several languages.  Metapad and Aspell can be used together or Aspell vcan be used alone.  Anyway both are free.  Anyone interested can find them at the addresses below.

I find my problem is know when to use , than then , etc .. and spell checkers won't help with that .
My spelling is for the birds .  well birds can spell better then I can or is that than ..

'then' is used for time, 'than' is used for comparisons like 'bigger than' etc.

I know you didn't mean any harm ..
I was just joking around . yes I'm from the us . old school , I had to quit school so I could help the folks with money so had to go to work when I was young and didn't get to enjoy school like most of you have .
It was hard back in the 70's for me and my folks .
