Direct Play Through TCP/IP [NEVER MIND]

Whats up....Me and My friend are trying to play this Game through Direct PLAY....but i dont quite know how to do it...can someone please send me something on how can i get started....because i have turned off my firewall...I know his IP address but i dont know..it just doesnt work...can anyone help me set it up....aight..thanks...

Could you explain a bit... what Game? And what has Direct PLAY has to do with AGS? Is it a new plugin I'm not aware of?

But anyway RockT, make sure you and your friend have the latest version of DirectX installed.

Apart from a-v-o's TCP/IP plugin there is no any other one, afaik. Still, we don't have an AGS game using that one.

Yes, I knew that plugin, I was just trying to... - nevermind, doesn't make sense anyway.

The registaration questions should maybe be checked a bit

Um...perhaps he was getting his game-creators confused? Perhaps he uses both AGS and the other game engine he was talking about? And perhaps he just got the two of them confused? You don't honestly think that a person would fill out the AGS Forums registration quiz, under the mpression it was another engine, do you?

Yeah, sure. It's just funny how things may turn out -- you answer the register questions (the ones that's hard to pass at the very first try, I think), post a topic and then suddenly realize that's a wrong website.
