Please help!! How do you do the pipe puzzle ? I only seem to be able to get 2 different pipes at a time, unless i press the 'start again' button (is this a bug?)
Ive looked at the 'voodoo' walkthrough, but the english isnt very good, and its a little confusing to say the least!!

I am glad to see I am not the only one stuck at this part, I have been at it for nearly a week. I have the walkthrough too and I have read every hint regarding these pipes and I still can't get through it. In one hint somebody had actually posted a saved game but the link didn't work for me. Can anybody give a very simple step by step explanation for this (or better still draw us a picture of what the pipes are supposed to look like when they are finished ha ha! ) Also does Garfield let you know when you get it right?
I noticed that Jane got it on the second try - I feel soooo stupid lol.

Im afraid to say that frustration has gotten the better of me, and ive given in and am looking for the next game. Good luck Joyce!

I really didn't expect this puzzle to become that hard for so many people. Please don't give up, it's not that hard. I thought most of gamers had already played the oil-cap or pipe games, really old arcades, and were goind to pass it after a few tries.
Look:
- You have to drive water from the source to the two exits labeled SET-A1 and SET-A2
- In order to do this, you must place pipes, one in front of each other so their extremes connect
- There are two kind of pipes: green (the wider ones) and red (the thinner ones) you can select which ones you will place with the button that shows a green pipe (it switches to red and back to green)
- You can click on the 'arrow' (more like triangles) buttons that appear on the upper-left part of the screen, then you will see the whole board, take your time to observe it and remember where the exits are and where the bifurcation (so you can connect to both exits) is. Remember more or less what's the distance, how many mouse clicks you need to get to one place to another, that way you'll be there faster.
- Try to avoid using the horizontal green pipe as they are scarce, I tried to give them more probabilistical help but somehow they don't want to show up.
- If you keep clicking the 'start again' button you will see that the first piece you're are placing will change, you can use it in your advantage as you can 'choose' a useful piece for the beginning. For example you will try to choose a horizontal green pipe or a west/south pipe.
- From then on try to find the vertical, the north/east and the west/south green pipes and locate the in a way that they finally connect to the bifurcation.
- As soon as they're connected, switch to red pipes and start locating the red part of the puzzle. If you did the previous part in time you will have enough time to complete the second (that is: after the bifurcation).
- When you've done it correctly, Garfield will tell something like (Yes! This looks good!) and doesn't let you play the puzzle anymore

I hope that helps, and don't let it put you down! :)

I just solved the pipe puzzle. That was fun... almost like playing Oil Imperium!
