It's the end of January and I still haven't heard anything about the AGS Awards... are they still happening. Shouldn't nominations have happened by now? I'm all a-confuzzled. If I'm wrong, sorry, I'm only going off when they happened last year.

The reason why they're so late is this: I was going to run through a few things with Pesty -- mainly how the awards and website work -- but I never got around to doing it . I've been pre-occupied with things of greater priority.

But just because there are no awards now, it doesn't mean you can stop making games. I encourage each person to keep trying their best, making game after game, each time making a better game than the previous one.

And with this, I wish good luck to you all.

That's the best response I can give (and I'm guessing it's likewise for Pesty), so you'll have to deal with that no matter how impatient you get.

Holy crap, people, relax! I'm working on it! It's not the easiest thing in the world to make a list of every demo and game released in the past year and it takes time. Read VWG's quote of my post and DG's post a couple more times until it sinks in that THE AGS AWARDS WILL HAPPEN A LITTLE BIT LATER THAN EXPECTED BECAUSE OF THE CHANGING OF HANDS. I AM WORKING ON IT. I'm not stressed, I'm just sick of these sort of posts (no offense meant to anyone who has contacted me or posted about it, but there're just so many of you who have said something). It's like people don't realize I'm doing this in my limited free time. Is it really that awful to have the awards happen a month late? Seriously, it's not a friggin' cure for cancer, for goodness sake. All I ask is for people to practice patience, not to remove their games from the nominees.
