I completely agree. It works great for this character.

New: a front view.Ã,  :)

Thanks for all your comments so far!

EDIT: Oops, I see I need to make his shoes a little larger in the front view.

I think it should be the other other way around, smaller head, wider neck. I would also make his jaw wider.
Also, the chest area and the belly to a some extent should be a bit smaller to let you see the arms better. He seems to lack shoulders.
And yeah, the shoes should be a bit bigger and point more forwards.

The head bobbing is a function most walking people utilize, however: not everyone! I had a neighbour once, who walked excatly like this guy here, and it was always a faboulous sight! It shows off a certain kind of pride and attitude, and I believe it's a characterisation who would suit a police officer perfectly (my neighbour was a farmer btw, but he had an incredible amount of sheep) - it would also apply to a lot of security guards, decorated military personell and so on. All these probably have a hurting neck after a good days work walking around in their pride posture, but that's the flipside they are prepared to live with.

I think he's perfect.

Then why does Brett walk like it too?

The Chin definately needs to be wider at thte bottom and then taper in. The rest looks fairly good.
Hey! All my awesome trophies dissapeared in the year since I was here last. CONSARN_IT! with an underscore!!! I earned dem tings!! Oh well. Hope your Monkey floats.

It looks great.
a few things that bother me:
- the chin
- the hands' postion differ in one view than another, that looks a bit weird, but if it's not the player character I would not bother about it.
- maybe the arms should show a little bit more
