I have a laptop with an athalon 64 and windows xp home.  It runs the ags program, but when I go to test the game, I get nothing but a black screen.  I tried running the game from the executable file, but get the same result.  When I do a cont/alt/del, the task manager says that it is running, so it's not hanging up.  Does anyone know anything that can help?

Does it do that for all games? Try making a new game and testing it. Otherwise I'm not really sure what to say. You can try checking out the system requirements for ags in the manual. Do games made by other people run correctly?

well, I have made 4 different games on ags, and when I try and test them or run them, it just gives me a black screen.  I did download a game from the ags website, and it seemed to run just fine.  I have ags on my desktop as well, and I can do everything on it just fine.  I don't know why I can't test or run games on my laptop that are made by my laptop.

well, it seems I have figured out that I have to run the game in a window.  If I run it in a window it seems to run just fine.

What resolution/color depth is the game?

Maybe the laptop screen doesn't support that particular resolution. Have you tried other games that use this resolution?
