the bottles in the store thingy (paper shop thing) you have to put the money into the vending machine, then you get a bottle of coke, but he doesn't like coke. so go into the pub and give not the bartender or his dad but the other bloke the bottle, he'll drink it and give you back the empty bottle

Guys if you do a search there is a few hints out there, not much but it might help because they mention other items that you don't seem to have yet. I played it but a long time ago so I don't remember much.

Just starting this game.  Got the feather and bottle of coke,  Gave coke to guy in bar He gave me back empty bottle.
I gave it to that old man in the alley,. and ink appeared in it.  Well Feather and Ink???  So I went and signed the sheet to sign up for band.  Got a bumper sticker and 5 dollars credit for store.  Went into the store where the coke machine is and gave man the $5.  He gave me a screwdriver adapter.

Thats it so far, now I am stuck........
