Looking for a dedicated team to start working on an adventure game its my first project and wont mind if your expierenced or newbie! All my content has recently been lost due to hardware difficulty and now only have scaned in pics and a quick feeble graphic attempt as it was  requested! Wanna as them not sure how to so oops.. like i said im new at this!

so heres where we at I do story writing puzzles and all the other difficult stuff have some adventures designed already most of them only 20 - 80% complete all concept  would like to c them go interactive! Got some creative new ideas that will challenge some of our forum coders well i think ne way! so Heres the challenge as I lay it down working on a game is a hard and long term commitment and I dont want any faders just dedicated gamers and designers!

I mentioned i do art and inform me how to post pics and ill give them to you!

Im looking for someone who can rip stuff from spongebob squarepants, like for example an image of a room. If someone knows how to do this but is too lazy, i can do it if you tell me how. I think this can be done scince the backgrounds in the simpsons template all seem to be ripped from the cartoon. Thanks.
Think about the kittens man!

I've recently played a VERY old game - "Presumed Guilty". It's NOT "Innocent Until Caught 2", it simply has the same name. It's a very interesting concept, and I'd like to do something similar.

What am I asking for? First of all, I'd like to discuss it with someone - see if it's feasible, see what kind of story could fit that concept, et all. Just discuss the concept, and see if it is, indeed, useable. Then I suppose I'd need an actual writer and an artist, but that's in the future - right now I'm more interested in discussing possibilities with someone who's interested. A conversation is all I ask, be it PM or via IRC or MSN. If you're interested, give me a call.

Sort of. It IS "text-based", but it has some rough graphics. Like UPLINK, it is played from a "computer viewpoint", but unlike UPLINK, it's a bona-fide adventure game. Now, I really like the idea, and I think there is real potential - if for nothing else, for experimental purposes, which is one area in which underground gamemaking excells because there's no profit loss anyway. If this is the game you mean (you're a police-sort-of-person who has been framed by a hacker and must use your computer to investigate and whatnot), then yes, I'd be very interested in chatting with you. PM, IRC or MSN?

Hi everyone,

I'm in need of help with puzzle design. Two colleagues of mine and I have been designing the story and feel of our game for the past 6 months, and have recently come to a point where we're all happy with the quality of the plot. Still, it would be very nice to have some fresh blood, especially now that it's all about creatively weaving interesting puzzles into the storyline.

Please PM me or email me at admin@dreamagination.org .

- STORY -

The project's name is 'Curse and Effect'. It's set in the 1930s and deals with a thief named Scott who gave up his profession in exchange for an ordinary job ever since his sister died and he was the only one left to care for his 8 year old niece Maxie. Still, the legend of his master thievery lives on. As a mysterious client approaches him to steal specific artifacts from a Mayan exhibition in a museum, Scott denies it numerous times... but since he is the only one qualified enough to break into this specific museum (he's done it before, after all), the client forces him to take the job by kidnapping his niece.

In shock and afraid to risk Maxie's life through his own rescue attempts, Scott actually complies and plans to break into the museum.
After avoiding numerous obstacles, he finds the required artifacts. But when one of them, a golden disc with a handle and ancient inscriptions, touches an electrical alarm cable by accident, it suddenly starts to glow and float in the air.
As Scott stares in wonder at what happens, someone beats him down from behind. The last thing Scott sees before he loses consciousness is the blurred image of a dark-haired woman who grabs the artifacts and then splits.

After Scott escapes from the museum and meets with his client, he is even more pressured to retrieve the artifacts. As he is beaten down again, he sees Maxie being shoved into a limousine where an elder man is waiting... seemingly the man who is behind the whole job.
So now Scott's job is to find the mysterious woman, retrieve the artifacts, find out about their origin and have his niece back in safety.

These are the first 2 of 10 chapters which will take the player to New York City, Spain, the Caribbean, South America and Hollywood.

 Howdy fellow AGSers!

If you didn't know me and my brother A-Hed are making a game called "the Artifact".
http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=13480.0

We are looking for a male to do a voice for a welsh dwarf.
Actually the dwarf should speak english but it would be terrific if he had a welsh accent since it is where he lives.

You can find facts, screenshots etc. about "the Artifact" at: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=13480.0

Also if someone is interested at helping us out with some scripting we would be ever so happy :)

Please contact me by sending an e-mail: jonas@xtreem.nu

Cheers!

Hi!
I'm making a new game called Nathaniel Romero and the Hideous Space-boulder, and I need a midi or mp3/OGG composer who can compose a few Zak McKracken-like tunes.
And, no, I haven't cancelled either Sunrise Manor or Life of A Rockstar, they're just on hold til' I get this one done.

Background artists/colorists needed!

Can you do justice to this sketch, or draw in a similar style?

If so, please drop me a line.Ã,  We have much to discuss.Ã,  Oh yes.

'Ello,

I am seeking a co-writer for a game called "the Asinine Allstars". It is centered around a group of four high school kids that are also a pop rock band by the same name. I have a story outline, but it could use a little adding to.

I would at first like to discuss the game and see what kind of puzzle and situation ideas that we can come up with together. At this point, I am looking only for brainstorming as I am waiting for less-wintery weather to begin working on art (The game is set in the town i grew up in, and I still need to take pictures of the areas)

Here is a pic of the main characters. It is not final character art, but they will look something like this:

If this sounds like a winner to you, please contacted me via PM, Yahoo, or the email listed in my profile.

Im currently making a game on my own but wouldnt mind a hand in one of the following areas:

Background design

Character sprites (got some already im happy with but if you think you could help improve im open to suggestions)

voice acting, for speech of characters. Chances are im gonna have quite a few characters in my game so a considerable number of these may be required.

for the first two im really looking for somebody to instruct me on how to improve my current art, as i realize most people wont have the time or dedication to do all the hard work for somebody elses game:p

the voice acting however, i believe may turn up more results, as it can be quite a fun thing to do, especially seein as ull probably have the option to write ur own lines (so long as they fit in with the story of course), simply as it will mean each characters dialoug is written by a different person, n hopefully make them seem deeper. or something. anywho, interested, let me know with a PM or an email (ec_blue@hotmail.com).

Looking for artist to help with Sam and Max fangame. Job includes making comic-stills for cutscenes and maybe some secondary sprites. Email if interested (in my profile), send an example picture drawing Sam and Max. By the way, the game is being done in SLUDGE, if that turns anyone away.

Here's an example of art we've being doing so far: http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/whoutsidecolor.jpg

Hello,

I need a music artist for 'Troopers'!

I know how to write music myself, but I'm primarily a rock musician and not a composer and since I really don't have the time right now to become a composer and since I want high-quality soundtracks, I'm searching here.

I'd need a soundtrack featuring several songs. They don't have to be that long... It should be either a "classical war" soundtrack (like the Battlefield soundtrack or the Sudden Strike soundtrack) or a technical new age one (like Command&Conquer Series soundtrack or the StarCraft soundtrack).

PM if you're interested and I'll send you more information as well as some example soundtracks...

Here's the most current screenshot from 'Troopers':

Oooooh RTS's.

Lead character artist/animator

I'm looking for character artists to work on the game Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth. You will have good experience with drawing to 320x200 resolution and can match the style of characters from Fate of Atlantis or what you have seen of our game, Fountain of Youth.

I'm looking for dedicated team members (character artists with a proven ability to animate) who will stick around for as long as necessary, who will keep in touch with the team and can occasionally work to some tight deadlines.

You will also have no problems with the legality of our project.

Anyone interested in this position should send
one or two sprite sheets of former work, and if
possible an example of an FoA/FoY style character

plus your name, contact email address and
AGS forum nickname to

mark@barnettcollege.com

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you,
we really need you!!!1

He-Man

I've almost finished the first chapter of my game Silent Knight and now I just need to beta test it.
I've already done it myself plus I've had a couple of friends over to do it, so hopefully it won't be to much trouble...

A little more info plus the intro can be found here:

Hi there!

A Tale of Two Kingdoms (recently featured on http://www.justadventure.com) is looking for someone to do a short intro movie, in AVI or MPEG or anything. It can be relatively short but we'd like something flashy to start the game with. This is primarily for our title screen and logo, but if you would be interested in doing a more extended intro sequence I'd be happy to hear it.

Leave me a private message if interested, please.

Yours,
Pieter aka Radiant

Hey everyone! I'm looking for someone who can draw who would be willing to do a couple of finished, inked drawings of some character closups for my game, (working title, Realm of Darkness.) Check the game out in the AGS game announcement forum.

I will be doing the coloring in photoshop, so finished inks are all I need, and there will probably be around 5 needed. If you can draw human characters well, please PM me or preferably Email me at real_trisk@yahoo.com with at least one example of your work.

Thanks tons in advance!
