Note: Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images.

Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, Gimp or any other ~equally good programs can be used.

In light of the new Looney Toons (see thread: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=19676.0) I started thinking. There are so many beloved characters that still haven't been ruined. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to destroy some more fond childhood memories. Thusly, your task is:

Create a new modernized version of a beloved character

(Notice I didn't specify you have to do this with adventure game characters. I don't want to be that restrictive, so go ahead and do anything you want.)

For example: Meet the new Indiana Jones.

Well, I wont have time to do the actual photoshopping, so do this in your head:

Find picture of Vin Diesel
Find picture of a deerstalker hat
Find picture of a pipe
Put deerstalker and pipe on Vin
Find photo of that female forensic pathologist from CSI (or Amanda Redman, if you prefer Silent Witness)
Find photo of Patrick Stewart looking sinister
Make Patrick Stewart fade so he's only just visible over a black background
Put Vin in foreground
Put forensic lady just behind Vin in foreground
Superimpose text: heading "Sherlock Holmes: Beverly Hills 90221b"
footer:

Wow, you're very observant. It's almost like I made the image for some kind of photoshopping competition.


Originally it was a Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess but I purple-ised the hair, joined the eyes, and added Leela clothes to make OMG KAWAII LEELA!1

Only thing I left out was the gizmo on her arm.

It's not my best work though IMO, but not bad for a 2 hour job at 1am in the morning.

And if you really want to see me destory your fond memories, wait until I add a manga-style Horrible Gelatinous Blob to the mix.
