I tried this in general discussions - but "G-BOT" said "wrong forum" - so I'll ask it here...

Here's the deal :

I want to do a room in a game...

In this room there is a time bomb ticking away at a real time interval...

The main character is locked in the room - to get out of the room,he has to do something like enter a code on a key pad beside the door, or solve some other type of puzzle...

He has "N" minutes or seconds to get out of the room - and / or the building - before the bomb goes off...

on the upper corner, or lower corner of the screen is a counter - like a digital counter - counting down till the bomb blows...

The game is in first person perspective - at least at this point...

Question: How could I approach the problem of doing this type of thing in AGS?

This is a cinch to do in AGS, but you're going to have to be more specific about which problem you want solved. Have you tried to do this already? I suggest try making the game and see how far you get on your own (this is all easily found in the manual).

you REALLY need to do a searching of the forums before posting. and yes, you should also get to know the proper placement of questions in this forum.

just a couple days ago, this was asked: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=20579.0

- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
