The tablet thing turned out to be an excelent investiment of my economies (Unfortunately, in Brazil, technology is still damn expensive). I can say every cent was well invested.
I can work twice as fast and the results are much smoother. See for yourselves (C&C are welcome, thow this is NOT game art).

Dwarf (not too happy about posing!!  ;D):

Man, that is nice. Lovely style.
Love the anatomy, exaggerated exactly to the right point, in my opinion.
Good work. :)

On a slightly different note, you might want to put a nudity warning in the thread title, as there are kids browsing these forums. :)

On a slightly MORE different note: what kind of tablet did you get?

big brother

Come on, it's artisitc nudity! Even the most philistine boss or parent couldn't have a problem with Stefano's picture.

About the posing, perhaps you could try a classical contrapposto (where his hips and shoulders are at opposite angles). It'll make him look less frontal.

You live in a very different world, my friend. My parents (and some various bosses) would have a problem with that, artistic photography, statue of David (uncensored), etc.

It's got a very comic-booky, pretty organic feel to it.   It is a sketch, so there's no point mentioning feet.  The pose is a good one for concept art.  It gives a straight-shot but still shows open palm and fingers for reference.  The neck bugs me a bit.  In order for collar to  incline from shoulder to base of the skull like that, his neck must be very pitched forward or non-existant (Or he's tensing his tendons with superhuman strength).  If the angles met about halfway down the neck portion, I think it'd make him look a touch less stressed.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew.....

But when I close my eyes, I will still be able to see that scarring picture.

The face reminds me of an actor but I cant think who. Other than that its great.

As Al_Ninio already said: very good anatomy. I can see you are very good at drawing human bodies. And you drew this with tablet? Wow. I couldn't draw such a body with pen and paper. :)

Looks really good. Like the sketchy style. I have a tablet myself but I rarely use it.

Stefano

Thanks for the advice. I didn't realize it could offend people. Warning placed!

Al_Nino: I bought Wacom's graphire 3 4x5. The thing is, here in brazil, we call it "digitalizing table" (translation), but the software says "pen tablet". Oh, well...
Thak you for your flattering coment!  :)

big brother: I like the "contrapposto", but I limit it's use for girls. Imagine this testosterone extra-filled dwarf moving his hips. (Eeeek) On second thought, don't imagine it... it's too scary.  ;D

hahahahahahahahahahah! Well he is stressed, but not THAT stressed. I see your point and will take it into account. Thanks!

Geoffkhan: do not try to imagine hip motion, as I sugested to big brother. You'll never be
able to use your browse again!! Arrrgh.  ;D

Cameron: maybe some unshaved western supporting actor?

Pablo: Hehe! I do love the human body (I mean, to draw it). Well. I do love some humaness bodies.  ;D

largopredator: My man! Gess you did't dicovered it's magic yet. OR It's just because I bought it yesterday, and all this excitment will wear off. Oh, well.

Chicky: What do you want it for? You can "have" it clicking the second button of you mouse and saving it to your HD, but I think it's not what you're talking about, right?  8) I really love your avatar.

It's good, but the muscles on his left arm are not correctly positioned. In fact, they are positioned just like his right arm, which is wrong since it's twisted differently. The biceps should start further down and run closer to the outside of his arm.
I also think his shoulders are too well-defined; very muscular people tend to have more meat around the neck-area.
The overall picture is very good, still. Impressive technique.

big brother

Traditionally, artists depicted males in contrapposto poses, while they drew females in pudica poses. I can see how you think having a drawf with angled hips could be scary, even frightening, but I don't think it would be that bad if you avoided an extreme position.

I think he kinda looks like Jack Nicholson.

Oh, and I love the drawing!

Stefano

Andail: Yes.. I see your point. I have some difficulties to remember proper muscles positioning and I didn't consult my book of anatomy for this one. I guess because I would have to reposition MY muscles to take the heavy thing from the upper shelf. :) Thank you for your comment.

big brother: I didn't mean to make fun of your comment. I agree that my character could use some muscle relaxation and natural posing. A classical model such as the "contrapposto", would fit it like a glove. Thanks again. ;)

HillBilly: What? Jack Nicholson??? Yes. Now that you mentioned... I guess maybe it is the hair line and abundant eyebrows.

Stefano, you should definitely make a game with this guy as the player character. Just as he is. Love it.

By the way Stefano, I think Chicky wasn't talking about having your picture:
