EDIT: This happened to me before, by the way.  Discussing polotics with other people.  I played WC and it happened, the only thing it resulted in was me and some other guy getting booted from a game.  On the hero6 forums it ended with me getting yelled at by a moderator.  It never ends well like this, because our ideals will not be changed by people we don't know in countries and states far away.  So just let it be.

Sorry if I offended you.  It was very mature of you to avoid an escalating argument and I viewed it as a cheap copout.  My bad.  But don't get so offended by some idiot who jumps into an argument with a catch phrase from a crappy year-old movie.

Just make sure you do at least read his post.  It contained some vital information that you have proven yourself to be ignorant of -- information that might come in handy when choosing what not to say the next time you do find yourself in such a debate.

Squinky, you're in the clear.  Draft is 18-26 to the best of my knowledge.

They are looking to change the draft age so that it's 35.  The 40-whatever recruiting age is supposed to relax restrictions for volunteers, not change the maximum draft age.  For now, Squinky, you're in the clear.  I so have one up on you though since I'm a year older and have already done my time.
