Hello there,
This is one of my first songs made on a computer, so please be gentle.
It's unfinished but I'm pretty happy with it this far. Anyway, do you think that I should add some kind of drums? In the middle (when only the guitar plays) I wanted to do something different but can't figure out what, any suggestions? Any other suggestions?

Actually, if you listen more closely that tone repeats through the whole tune in even intervals. The problem is it gets repetitive after a while. This would be especially noticable if the tune looped in the background.
You can either play with the dynamics and make that tone more quiet on some places or you could even change it with another tone that fits the current chord.

About the drumkit, there is a kick at the start of the tune but it goes away after a few beats. My suggestion here would be to either add a complete percussion track to the piece, or use a percusive element that is used on it's own. Like a shaker or a triangle.

A very nice piece of music, by the way.

You obviously play some instrument if this is one of your first songs made on computer. Very nice! It wouldn't probably work very well as a background tune in a game as it is quite repetitive, but it would do just fine in a cutscene. As I don't know what kind of tune you're after, here are some random ideas you might want to try.

The bassline works, but I would make it play "a proper melody" instead of just one note repeated. I'd also use more bass throughout the song to balance it, because you have used only higher octaves for guitar and piano.

You could try adding some guitar or piano chords, or alternatively some strings.

Fiddle around with the channel panning and note volume controls, you'll notice how more dynamic you can make your tune.

As for the drums, if you feel they suit the feel you want for the song, go for it. Experiment with different drum beats. I tried adding a quick basic drum beat to your song and it worked well.

Keep composing, you've had a good start already.

Thank you for the responses!
Yes I realise this song won't work as a background theme. I'm thinking of using it in the end of the game...

I've listened to your opinions and used some of them to do a remake, who now is finished. I changed the tune who repeats itself a bit. Changed the bass a little bit, though I'm quite satisfied with it as it is. Added a piano and also some strings, I think that the piano and the strings made a very positive change, while I'm uncertain on the other changes. I also did something with the guitar in the middle, don't now if that was a good change...

About the drums I hope that my cousin, who is a drummer, will help me with that, because I'm not very good at that stuff...

Right here it is...

I'm pretty happy with it, but not finished. Please tell me what you think about the new version, is it better? Something else that I should change?

Yay! This makes me wanna dance. No really, this is pretty cool. The changes work great, and it would fit the scrolling end title just fine. Well, it would fit an introductory sequence, too. But I have to agree, that for a looped background theme, there is something not quite right. I couldn't tell, what it is, but I just came to compliment you on this, anyway.  :)
