heres an example of one of my characters:

I think I got the front and back to match okay, I just flipped it and changed features such as the feet. But does anyone have any advice on the best way to make sure the front and side views match?

I think it's quite okay.. I really like the character, and it's designed well..

----but the side side ain't perfect indeed.. however.. its goin' good..
Looking at the front and back side, the guy is hangin forwards a lot, with his butt very much behind em.. at your sideview.. he looks like he's leaning back more.. while he's supposed to lean forward (referring especially to the back view), i think he even almost falls to his back at the side view.. try to make em more leaning forward, with his butt very much behind 'em.

..and where are his hands?, cause looking at the big black spots beside the pants I don't see he's got them in his pockets.

Good luck!

This is my first go at forward walking animation. It uses 8 frames. Any comments?

Moox

Needs a bit more bob in the shoulder area.

Saberteeth

It's good but why is he tilting his head up and down? ???
Also, you're only moving his thighs and the groin aera is still. You should fix that too.
Otherwise, I don't see anything alse wrong...

potato hunter

yeah your right
his upper body does look a bit stiff, quite happy with the feet

potato hunter

yes, he should not move his head in such a queer fashion
