I browsed the Encyclopedia Dramatica and it is a complete cesspool of morons who think they're hilarious but actually need their internet access rights suspended (otherwise known as 'maddox wannabes') - not only that but one of the random pages I clicked on (something to do with the internets' or internet fads) had a 'shock' image that is now burned into the forefront of my brain and makes me feel physically ill whenever the memory of the depravity decides to pop-up again.

Uncyclopedia is much better!

I was more referring to shock and offend humour spouted by people who idolise Maddox and SomethingAwful and believe that the nastier and more outrageous they are the more hilarious the crap they write is.

I mean, I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force and South Park and Brass Eye and Family Guy and suchlike which all have elements in that will shock and offend _someone_, but there's a rather lage difference between this and this (Edit: the second link is not safe for work, and don't dwell on it too much as I don't want to derail the thread too much - just making a point is all)

Yes quite, as Eric had wisely gathered it's a 'Not Safe For Work' link (the second one at least, the first is just an article from the Guardian). I'd advise against clicking on it altogether really, it's nasty.

Well, look. We have two options here.

a) Someone explains to me in hide tags what the picture is of and what's so shocking about it, or...

b) I get sick of waiting for someone to do that and I look at the picture, possibly scarring myself forever and/or getting fired from work.

I clicked on the article... I tried to read it, but... ;_; but... it was... oh my god.

It was so boring and badly written! I had to quickly close the browser but the text has been burnt into my mind forever.

EDIT: All someone has to do is tell me what the picture is though >_< I'm at work. I work in a school, with teachers who don't speak English very well. Whatever it is, I doubt I could explain why I was looking at it adequately.
