Image hosting webpages dead or what?

Have you noticed that many of the avatars, signature images and photos are now a bunch of red Xs? Somebody knows the reason? Is that just a matter of my comp? is there a way to fix this?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, or the reason is Vox Populi. I tried to enter mIRC, to ask, but I am unable, apparently...

You can't get into IRC either you say? Maybe it's a problem with your firewall?

It has allways worked propperly, and I haven't changed anything... But if I ask is because I know Helm had to cancel the Comic competition because most of the entries were kaputt. Was that a problem with just that thread or more people is experiencing the problem in all the forums?

EDIT: I am in mIRC now ^_^.

I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary (nearly all images have displayed), although my internet use is somewhat sporadic.

Everything is OK for me today, too. I'm having no problem with images.

Well, in reference to my avatar at least, I'm purposefully hosting an image called "Broken_Avatar.gif" which displays as a broken avatar. Not sure about everyone else though.

Photobucket was down yesterday because of an update, I suppose that's why.
