Alien WW2-type aircraft.

This is a pixal sketch I did of a alien world war two level fighter. What do you people think? Does it look like it came from around WW2? As well, any colouring ideas? Paint overs are of course welcome.

It would look better if it didn't have a black outline around, rather a darker version of the inside color. Also, it should have some shading. The colors are very WW2 ish. Is this going to be for a game?

Actually I think it looks more like it came out of Star Wars. I don't know much about Aircraft in WW2, but  the technology wasn't very advanced back then and this looks a bit futuristic.

It is very good though and would work perfectly in a sci-fi game!

well the prong things are world war two era radar, and the big engine up front is a rotary, air cooled engine, just didn't draw the prop. the things on  the side are of the wings are fuel tanks
I relize that the wings are to small. but I wanted to draw a circular wing, just didn't turn out right. so I did this  its sort of for a game, buts its just an idea.

Zor, I presume the WW2 part was just for inspiration, not to indicate that it was used in WW2.

I think it looks quite good. The colors are correct, the 'propeller' is familiar and it has a WW2 feel. I would still lengthen the main wings a bit, since now it looks a bit stuffed in. Also, there's a perspective issue with the cockpit glass and a roundness/perspective issue with the front of the plane.

I would suggest correcting those faults and putting in coloured outlines, as yoda said. Then I'd add shadows and highlights, and detail.
