I just got back home from the first ever traditional Finnish AGS meeting. It was hell lot of fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, though the mosquitos and horseflies were quite annoying. The weather was ace during the whole meeting, and we did all kind of cool stuff.

The attendees were: Haddas, Inkoddi, Ishmael, JetXL, Pablo,  Petteri, Stickieee, Tuomas and visy. Some of us also met Azash briefly the other day, and Haddas' sister Fanny kept us company on several occasions.

I've got hell lot of photos, video and 18 pages of Lapaset diary and it all needs sorting out before uploading, so stay tuned!1 For now, here's a photo to give you a general image of the happenings:

Pablo and Ishmael are still at Haddas', but I hope everyone is getting safely home. Especially Inkoddi, whose travel plan gave us gray hair last night.

A lot of fun? Everyone looks bored out of their skulls in that picture!!! :P

Glad you had a good time though, Pete - and it'll be fun to see the rest of the photos and videos!!

LOL, even Visy went! :D

Haddas

PABLO WON'T LEAVE MY HOUSE! :'O

Ishmael

Somebody helmp me... I'm in a closet and it's all dark and stuff in here. And explosions! D:

And btw. I took a whole huge lot of photos so far, and I'm still not finished, I think.
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

<Calin> Ishmael looks awesome all the time

Stickieee

It was teh greatness!

Me & visy didn't drop Inkoddi off at Lahti, as originally planned, but took him all the way to Tampere instead, where he eventually got on to a bus. (I believe). As we were heading to Tampere, we stopped to pick up two russian hitch-hikers with us. Do always pick up hitch-hikers, especially the ones with towels. It's the humane thing to do.

I'll post a few pictures as soon as I have time to go through the piles of photos.

The time flew past surprisingly fast.

The first patch of Lapaset photos can be found here! The videos are coming tomorrow, I need sleep now because I haven't slept properly in ages.

Some of the photos are blurry and some have strange grainy stuff in them. Sorry about that.

EDIT: Also, I couldn't be bothered to load up 140 photos in Photoshop and fiddle around with levels and brightness of each one of them, so some of the photos are quite dark.

Is Ishmael holding a handgun in that picture with the donut? Sure looks like it.  :)

Pumaman

The picture is misleading, indeed. But from my experience I must conclude that this was THÉ most chill out meeting evva!11! No plans, no rush, not even fierce game discussions! Everybody agreed with each other. The picture is about a few ags members sitting on a bed and playing every nes/snes/gb/c64/neogeo game made (and some arcade games). And when they got bored of that they watched futurama, HHGttG or Púmaman.

So, will you be holding Lapaset next year as well? It's a shame I couldn't make it this year :(

Oh, and here's the obligatory "No, I really DID make it to Lapaset! Check out this unedited footage!!!11234567890FFF" picture.

Hopefully, yes. And if I get to say anything about it, we'll hold it here in Tampere :D

Nice photos, guys. I'm still not quite sure how I managed to look like a complete moron in all of them (it's me, isn't it?).

Wow, it felt awesome to actually SLEEP last night! That's something we really didn't do at lapaset. Anyway, here are some photos I took. My personal favourite has to be this one! Who knew showell could be so mindblowing and interesting at the same time!

I just played the awesomest demo ever and was astounded by the greatness of it all.

Pet Terry

You're not the only one to notice that, Azash!

Behold, video!

Just hanging around.
Haddas tells us a funny story.
Creating sound effects.
Pablo gives up building card castles.
AGSers battle against each other in Mortal Kombat.
Zombies ate our neighbours!
Inkoddi plays awesome.
CATFIGHT!
A lovely piano concerto.
Insult gun fighting.
The stupidest video ever.
Making of "The Tales of Mr. Oyd" part 1.
Pokeymon!
JetXL throws himself to the waves of lake Hopom.
Stickieee fails at learning to fly.
Having a wonderful time!.
Petteri interviews the Mr. Oyd development team.

The videos are downloaded straight from the camera, so some of the files are quite big. I couldn't be bothered to to start converting them all.

But enjoy! I still have to scan the diary, but I'll do that later.

I agree with Jet that the meeting was overall very relaxed, and that added to the awesomeness of it. Also, great phatos, Stickieee!
