An ISO Y-Wing [non-game related]

After a severe bout w/ a creative block ... I've started pixelling again (thank god!).

I sat down this morning and decided to put a Y-wing in ISO and this was the result:

I feel a bit rusty, and want to throw some pixels around before creating more backgrounds for Amulet of Kings.

I feel pretty happy with the over-all shape and colors.  Some areas of concern for me are the ends of the nacelles (both ends).  They were the hardest part to accomplish (due to the 'rounded' nature). And the front part of the fuselage (cockpit area) breaks the ISO lines too.

Opinions?  Comments?  Suggestions?

I think it looks terrific ^_^
One thing that looks a wee bit off to me is that the circles behind the thrusters don't look exactly perpendicular to the rods that attach them to the rest of the ship (assuming that you want them to be perpendicular).  More specifically, if you were looking at the ship straight-on, the right side of the circles seem to be a little bit closer than the left side.  It may be just me, though... and I'm nitpicking because the rest of it looks really cool ^_^

These are some freakin sexy pixels. Truly a masterpiece. I think the colour scheme is just so Star Wars.

It's only a minor issue, but shouldn't the detailing on the top of one of the 'thrusters' be flipped left to right (viewed end on) rather than facing the same direction on both?
Great work by the way  ;D(better than I could ever do). :)
mmmmm... sparkly

I think it's perfect, I've always enjoyed all your Star Wars related sprites! I have tried drawing X-wings in game size, and it's unbelievable hard. I hope you still make a Star Wars AGS game with those graphics!

Yeah ... I really struggled with that rounded parts.  ISO doesn't lend itself (easily) to rounded lines.  I played with that over and over and over, believe me.

Yes it should :)  I will admit that I copied the "shell" of the nacelle rather than trying to recreate it.  As a result, some of the details were transferred too.

It's in my line of "games I want to make".  Though it won't be anytime too soon sad to say!

Actually ... this has nothing to do with JP & Cosmo II.  However, that game WAS in production until Amulet of Kings came along.  Once that's finalized I'm going back to JP2, don't worry!

Thanks for all the kind words!  I'm not sure how much more time I'm going to spend on this, as it was basically just for practice and no real application.
