As explained in the title this thread is asking that age old question, why do guys find two woman kissing erotic? I have my theory which I will get into soon, but I wondered what you guys thought. And female posters feel free to laugh at the peculiarity of the male species and post your own thoughts.

Ahem... My theory is that men find it erotic, is due to the fact that people (ALL people) have difficulty understanding something alien to them. To guys, the mystery is " why don't woman want sex when I want it"Ã,  since guys would gladly drop trow if woman wanted to too. But woman don't. So they cook up this myth that when woman go away to say, all girls collages, they must be doing something, because they don't want it as readily as guys would like when they are in a nomal population of guys and gals. Not to mention the added onÃ,  voyeur effect.

The kissing part maybe has to do with a hidden will (in everybody, not talking about me), to be the other sex. I mean I would realy love to try to be a woman for a while. To put on make up, to kiss and make love and all that stuff... Watching a female taking the place of a male, is partly that for me.

Ok seriously. Well think of it. You get the erotic pleasure from peeking, which is a bit intruguing, a bit forbitten. You get that itch. And when something like this happens and you get to see it, well, it's a tabu. And furthermore. Men tend to get excited from seeing the female body, all the soft curves, pure, simple lines, and for some, the whole nakedness, soft skin. Where as, I believe, for women it's the same, well, some of the men have this attribute of growing hair on their skin. Women too grow hair, I know, but have you heard of shaving the hair from legs etc? I think that the sexual parts from both that make them differ are the ones that awake these sexual feelings.

and to think of it. 2 people kissing, well there's always a sexual tension there. be it you kissing someone, or you seeing some people kissing, you mind immediately gives you the idea of what's going on. A connection between the two. Now if you double these attributes from women and bring them in such situation, this gives you the curious feeling of what is going on, why, and why are you looking at it. And what's more, you begin to think, that they're both women, sexually attractive creatures. So I don't think it's any wonder people tend to get a bit excited.

For common porn, well, I know people who don't want to watch intercourse because they despise the manly side of it. Yet some might find the viewintriguing in a kinky way. your mind might even make you imagine you yourself were on that position... which, no doubt about it, would most likely be very awkward, and possibly not so fun. Porn with bad actors can end up hell for the viewer depending on what he/she is after. yet, if you can act feeling with, it becomes much more interesting, well to some I'd suppose. Or I don't know, I'm not the love doctor.

Anyway, I don't find it odd what Becky said. I know a lot of people who find two women kissing hot. I don't see why it couldn't be the other way around. Well, men might think less of the women if they thought all the women wanted them to kiss another guy. Well, face it, lots of men WOULD love to see their girlfriend kiss another woman. Were not so different.

I think the whole thing with lesbians is one is able to view intimacy between two parties without having to constantly deny that one is not sexually aroused by the sight of another male as most societies seem to condemn homosexuality, especially among youths.

Another plausible explanation is the 'thrill' of it. People seem to be sexually aroused when doing something they are not supposed to, eg doing something that could in turn result in them being reprimanded or punished.
The thrill here comes again from the suppression of homosexuality among most western societies, because lesbianism is a form of homosexuality. If one were to be caught in a homosexual relationship one would be likely to be subject to criticism by one's peers, so the fantasy of two woman being involved in something which may cause them to be criticised is fulfilling a fantasy of performing the forbidden.

Dunno if that all makes sense I sucked most of it out of my thumb!
