Hey, whats goin on with the irc.adventuregamestudio.co.uk server?

and whats up with the AGS server?

noone of them are working.

anyone know whats goin on?

The americangirlscouts.org server will be down for a bit, according to Hajo.

I don't think the irc.bluecup.com channel exists anymore $:-\$

I don't know if people have regrouped on the old quakenet server, as I can't remember the details $:-\$

Server maintenance: The worst possible scenario for those using the server! Lol...not really...

But my IRC client is Trillian..it's weird...I have to set it up different...but I can't get on right now anyway..so... 8)

D'oh! Oh well, so long as it comes back sometime!

A lot of sites on the server are English, I don't suppose you could translate "Hier entsteht eine neue InternetprÃ¤senz !" into English too, please? I know I get about 30 new visitors a day - and I doubt those that don't speak the native language would want to babel fish it.

The last time this happened I remember spending about Â£5 phone calls to my domain registrar thinking they had done something because again, the message wasn't in English.

From what I heard in the temporary IRC channel earlier, the server is still under maintenance...so...I guess we should just all be more patient.

It WAS under maintenance, patching things to the latest secure versions, however there were some complications upgrading the kernel that Hajo couldn't realistically have foreseen, and as you might imagine that's taken a lot of work to sort out. The only time I've seen Hajo taking off this is to sleep.

Generally the websites have been back up for ages now, the IRC server is quite low priority, I believe the plan is to sort that out today though.
