Hi everyone 

I'm making a logo for a web from Argentina about Adventure Games and I need C&C, this is the logo so far:



What do you think, should I change something?, I know the perspective is kind of twisted, but I wanted it to be that way, the part where it says SPAM will obviously be replaced by the URL.

I think it would look better if the perspective was mirrored, so it would get smaller to the right side, not left like it is currently. The color scheme is good.

I'm not too keen on the outer glow, it looks kinda sludgy around the smaller letters. Have you tried changing the colour of the letters after the A to contrast them with the background a little more? Oh, and is it supposed to read Aventurama or should it be Adventurama?

I agree with Switcheroo about the outer shadow of the words... I would suggest making them sharper (in keeping with the clean-looking logo), cutting them out, or making the shadow on only one side.

The glows and the like are fine. The real problem is contrast and composition.



I angled the "A" the other way to emphasis it's importance. It also dragged your eye left, and now it keeps it centered.

You had no dark values at all. It's an Adventure game site, and with a name like Adventurama, I can assume it's comical. Line quality plays a big part in comics. So I added some bold lines to make everything pop and added some contrast. It's a good idea, but it looks too Microsoft Power Point.

Also, keep in mind with lettering like this, it's almost making the "A" the logo. Which is nice if you don't already have a logo design and just this banner. A big "A" would make a great icon or "sticker".

Oh, and I got rid of the blue/grey thing. Bright colors and grey don't mix really well. If it was a telephone number it might work, because you want people to know that. Which a name, the URL isn't that important, because they're more likely to remember the name anyway and look it up on a search engine.

Also, both in the original and the edit, the URL's letters look crooked, but crooked in a bad way. They don't seem to all be in the same angle

OK here it is, I tried to take all of your advices, the A is pretty much the same, I couldnt change the perspective as I would like to.

The site has nothing to do with comics, the name means something different in this case =P, it is supposed to say Aventurama not Adventurama.

Mesh, I added some lines in order to make it sharper, but maybe I'm still using too much shadow?
switcharoo I've made a couple of changes with the colours, what do you think now?


EDIT: And this would be for a retro part of the page, what do you think of the colours, (I'll delete the yellow line)

I dont understand, sorry. What values, what do you mean exactly? Should I add a wider outline to the font? :S

The values don't get very dark. I added some darker shadows below the small letters to make them stand out from the background. They're the same colors and they really need that, or some thick lines to make them stand out. The "A" wasn't ther focal point, which it should be. Some brighter colors and some (poorly done) shadows.

Not perfect, but you get the idea, I hope.
