It is one of those European soccer stadiums. I guess it's pretty much functional for an intro/cut scene, but I would certainly love some help to improve it.

Thoughts?

Ignore the black frame. It's there for the GUI.

Edit: I've also noticed there are a couple of pixels out of place (where the scoreboard is, particularly). Ignore those too.

Wow, very atmospheric. But I guess, you wouldn't see stars from this perspective.

You're right, those are buildings!  ;D

It sucks... The seats should be red and blue, being clearly readable "FC BARCELONA" There should be three bleaches in the east side of the stadium, and two in the west one, making a stylish curve in the horizon of the stadium. The scoredboards should be outside of the edges of the stadium, not integrated in the "visor", which should just be in one of the sides of the stadium, not covering it all, making a silly feeling of being in a giant cauldroon.

So, we move from this:

Spoiler
I was of course joking...Ã,  ;) Aussie is a die hard fan of Real Madrid, and he is making a homage to the club making a similar stadium... I suggested changes to transform his stadium into FC Barcelona one, my team, and the main rival ^_^

If I wanted a Roman amphitheatre I would have drawn one ;D

C'mon Nacho, you're good at this, give us some real crits!

I think that as mentioned before, the only concern is the background, while buldings, still the perspective is goofed... But nothing really important, since with the non elaborated BG you are focusing the attention in the stadium... I really dig it :)

Edit: Typos.

I think you should go more for something like this :=

Serioulsy, I've never been to a stadium that has the ends lower than the sides... if you know what I mean. THen yes, the closer end seems to be a lot higher than the other, but still they both are at the same level when you look at the side, or the lines of the seats. It basically looks like the one in the front is going up while the back is going down...

If this will be animated I would suggest in some way make the crowd ... broiling ... some kind of movement to show it's not 100,000 people sitting still!

Also (if animated) I would suggest camera flashes.

On a perspective note ... the colored boards that go around (through the crowd) ... on the left side of the image they appear to go off perspective.  Seems like (just looking) they would curve down a bit more?

All-in-all I'd say it's a good image!

(I'm at work, so can't do a paint-over!)

Scummbuddy

The left jumbo screen looks to be going in the wrong direction, perspective-wise. It's more evident in the smaller picture, that the jumbo screen starts off smaller, then gets bigger, where I think it should be a subtle difference in the other direction.

- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Your guys are all correct (Scummbuddy, Darth, Nacho and Toumas). There are some perspective issues there that I need to fix.

I suppose I'll give it another go.

I've tried the flashes, but I couldn't make it look good. So I think it's likely to stay still.

random single pixel white dots would be fine for camera flashes. 1 frame, no animation.

especially something big happens in the stadium like someone scores a point cameras would go CRAZY.
