Yahoo mail has spam filters too that you can make yourself but if you're working with the free version , after a certain amount of filters , they won't let you make any more. Which is very stupid and annoying if you get alot of spam mail.

If you do meet a guy and he tells you he's gay, just remember that he might not even neccesarily fancy you at all. Just like you don't fancy every girl in existence. And if he does fancy you, reject him and feel flattered that someone found you pretty!

Maybe you do know some gay folk, and they're worried you will act strange and foreign around them.

Seriously. They're just people. They're gay. Call them gay. If you think of the word "gay" as an inherently bad word, then you're part of the reason that none of your gay aquaintances are risking coming out of the closet.

You don't need to feel awkward around gay people. Gay is not contagious, and even if it was, the only bad thing about being gay is being treated as if you're not a person by your peers and by your government.

I just reread the thread and can't understand why homosexuality was even brought up. Sex spam isn't sent to women on the off chance that they might be lesbians... It's sent to everyone because email is free and for every million you send, one idiot will pay you off. I can't understand why you came out of left field just to announce that you dig chicks... It suggests sexual confusion more than anything else.

His comment about always having fancied only chicks made me feel like it was okay to say that I feel the same way. I just tend to talk too much and draw things out into things they aren't.

The topic of this thread is how ridiculous these people who send out spam truly are. Seeing as I've never done it myself, do you think that these people are actually paid, or do they just do it for the sheer hell of it? I mean...of course large corporations can't legitimately have a Spam division, but perhaps they have a few other things like $50 rolls of toilet paper or some such...if you catch my drift.

I don't necessarily see why it would be locked for talking about homosexuality. Certainly it's not the topic...or at least it wasn't...though I think if the mods think things are getting out of hand they can say "keep it on-topic" before it becomes necessary to lock the thread...
