Quite right, I do!

Like after 5 years of waiting they're finally coming to Finland! Am I happy or what. Who cares if the tickets were 55e each and I'm in debt, at least it's bound to be an awesome consert.

Actually they're making a little acoustic tour around the Scandinavia and some other countries, meaning they'll only have the singer and the guitarist Ian Anderson and Martin Barre with and lsot of random people it still must be worth it. Be happy for me. It's my all time favourite band.

Heh, I remember when I first read about this from a newspaper at a lecture, I jumped in the air. Sadly the whole consert is booked, so only me and my brother are going. And we're on the 8th row, so up yours who didn't order them in advance. Damn, I'm so exited I want to share!

I would hear thick as a brick and leave, I know not more of Jethro Tull... They are probably great, but I don' t have a lot of musical culture, I guess... So, anyway, congrats to you who have tickets for a concert you can really enjoy. Have a good time! :)
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Nacho

Ahhhh... great... I like it, but wait, I think I' ll need to call my acid dealer to enjoy the experience completely... I think there are some high and low notes that can only be heard in a lisergic trip...

I' ll tell ya how it went, brotha'... mmmm... acid... Aqualung... aaaah...

Have a good time and enjoy it, I never saw him when I was younger so I missed the chance to see the mighty flute. Nowadays, I'm too old to rock and roll  ;)

Nacho

Oh come on, you are young... Anyway, talking a bit of all... I think I am screwed, my fav bands are the Beatles, Queen, Bob Marley and they Wailers, and Janis Joplin... and Elvis. So, go, go and see this guys before it' s too late.

Damn, at least I saw the Stones...

It was supposed to be a joke about the song/album "Too old to rock and roll, too young to die". I've seen most of my favourites over the years Hawkwind, New order (before they got big), Lee Perry. It's years since I last saw anyone, I've lost the urge to go.

Their trademark was a a shabby hair-do and beard. I shaved mine and cut mine short when I found jazz and discovered the fact that you have to be a succesful musicial to get chicks with such appearance :D

LOL, well I have long hair and a beard and I got a fiance. (Of course, I did not have the long hair and beard when I met her)..... But to get back on topic, I happen to love Jethro Tull, I had an oppertuntity to see them once but I missed out on the chance. I'd love to see them. But I haven't been to a concert in years anyway. (you know, kids will do these things to ya)... Enjoy my friend, enjoy..... and be sure to tell me if old Ian can still rock!!!

Good for you. I'm a big fan of Jethro Tull. I was at the concert in Göteborg a couple of years ago, which was great, except that Ian's voice had deteriorated a lot since his great days.
Aqualung, Thick as a brick and Heavy Horses are some of their best albums, for people who'd like to give it a shot.

I love the Tull.  They've been playing the Isle of Wight concert on "InHD" which is an HDtv channel I get.... LOVE IT.

Was great. Though a lot of people were disappointed. Basically because it's beenaÃ,  while since they were here and people were expecting a normal Tull performance with Aqualung and stuff.

Well I didn't as it was said there were only Ian Anderson and Martin Barre fromt he band, + James Duncan and David Goodyear, great artists, then some violin player from America and a pianist who's name I never caught. Anyway, it was more like Andersons solo stuff, like rubbing elbows etc. But I think they had the Jethro Tull name there since they did play Tull songs too, such rarities as Dun Ringill and Salamander and King Henry's Madrigal. Then on the other hand they played a lot of Ians solo stuff and one of Martins too. And some people didi't like the violin player. The whole consert was very folk-ish since it was acoustic. Although they did play aqualung or a very strange version of it. And they played some Mozart stuff in a medley Ian called Moz-art, which was basically the famous pieces combined in messed up timekeys like 7/8 and 5/4 etc.

Anyway, worth 7 hours of driving and 55euros ticket price. I was home today at 5:30 am and woke up at 3:40pm

So I came home and realised my Genesis tickets have arrived \o/
