Go back to the control centre and ask that girl, she gives you good hints, though I am not sure which settings I was using, trial and error and then all the sudden it worked

You need to mention the right name when you call. Maybe there are some things in the hallway labeled with names of employees?

Yes, the burning jacket is needed to make sure that dangerous gasses that could escape somewhere burn before they poison anyone.

Okay, I'm stuck a little before you guys were:

I just opened the pad lock and got the tape and flowchart. I'm not sure what I am supposed to do now. The only places I have been is the starting room, the room with the hose and medkit, the big room that leads to the control room and the control room itself. I have newspaper, oxygen tank, matches, tape, scissors, metal bar, plastic bag, wrench, flowchart, I think thats it. What now?

The measuring device:

First, get the paper stuck behind the measuring device. Look at it in the info menu. The measuring device itself is the starting point. We see that it's in front of the pipe, and a little above it since the pipe is set into the ground. We need to start adjusting our values from the device itself. X would go left and right horizontally to the pipe. Y vertically. And Z goes through it.

First thing to do is finding the center on the Z axis. We know we're measuring inside the pipe if the density is about ~1.00 something. Then we move down on the Y-axis until device measures the lowest point possible inside the pipe.

You can get the good one at any point provided your trust is 50% or higher and...

This game is fantastic so far, except for the DAMN MEASURING DEVICE!!!!

Please, just tell me the damn code already! I've followed your hints and I don't understand. I must be stupid then. And sheer luck isn't getting me anywhere either. What makes me so frustrated in this instance is that the game was so much fun I'm annoyed that I cannot continue, where in some other AGS games I'd have just deleted it off my hard drive. That's a compliment amongst my angry rantings.

For the good one: I've already found the second newspaper article, but I can't show it to Matthew. I need a hint on where the third one is and how I can play Matthew etc. I also only have 40% trust, is there a good way to gain 10% more?
