beat the game, but not sure if i got the happy ending...
how do you get the third newspaper? i think i have to open the locker, but matt doesn't let me...

So the second newspaper article is in the crack. It's the only place besides the locker that I can't get into. So, how do I switch to Matt, since I think I need to use him to get into the crack...

You don't need to switch to Matt. Maybe you can use something thinner than your arm to get the article.

You need to contact the guard with the walkie-talkie. You can do that by right clicking the walkie-talkie and then choosing either the use or the talk icon.

I did managed in dealing with the crank and chain by while moving it to the left (with control guard).

I do see a backup switch in pressure room with two valves one of them is close and the other is open. I did try open/closing valves including using backup switch and still no success. I do have dirty clothes.

What next?

Always try to give the 'nicest' answers when you talk to Matt or other people.

Maybe you didn't miss getting the trust up, but you get some trust subtracted sometime?

I tried about everything and got lots of boost, but one time I tried talking to Matt about everything and 10% were subtracted. I think I got another subtraction of 10% for something else. I really don't want to replay the whole game to get the good ending, that's why I was asking whether there are any other possibilities to boost the trust. I also hoped finding the second and third newspaper article would boost it again, but I can't seem to do anything with the articles and when I go into the reactor room with 40% trust and all articles, I get a bad ending... Will I have to play it again?

As far as I know, aside from the various dialogs that you are FORCED into to, the only way to lose/gain trust is

Show wrench to Matt, talk to Matt about everything.

After doing that, I think you get +60% trust, if you get everything right. I'm sure there's a way to get more trust than that, but I haven't found it.

So... I think you're stuck below 50% unless you figure out something else.

Yes, I got %60 also.

But I'm not sure how to deal with Mason with all inventories I have including using all dialogs.

Has anyone figured this one?

I'm stuck with the pressure, too. The tanks thingy is solved, but I still get the message that the pressure is way too high. I think it's got to do with the exhaust on the roof?

The control system tells you about three problems to solve:
Exhaust on top
Steam producer
Cooling pump
I began at the top and worked down.
