I am quite stuck.

I am at the factory, at the strike central. I have just got the newest piece of knowledge: "No one's here, where did they all go". And I have no clue what the next step is. I would imagine getting into the locked Weapon Control room. I tried using the tin chopsticks with it, and that's about the only thing I have been able to do that actually triggers a helpful response.

You're right with your conclusions.

Hm... what do the cops do with locks in the movies? They shot them open with their

Actually, I thought of that, too! But I've tried all possible combinations with the chopsticks, the empty gun and the KNOWLEDGE of the empty gun... no go at any time. And when I use the chopsticks on the gun, I don't get anything. Not a "no" message, or any kind of message... nothing.

Also, it's not a bad puzzle. It's logical... once I found out that the chopsticks were for using with the lock, that is. And since I'd already used them as lockpicks... unusual, but not at all bad, so don't worry.

Empty gun? That's strange. What did you get when you used the disassembler on the overpowered gun? *Normally* you should get a normal Flaregun and some other stuff when disassembling it... and using the tinsticks on the disassembled gun should give you a tin gun.

Ah, it had never crossed my mind that I had to disassemble the flaregun. It would have, if I'd gotten some appropriate response when I tried to use the chopsticks with it.

However, I can't use the disassembler with the "empty flaregun" either... like when using the chopsticks with the gun, I get no message, no nothing.

Um... you combined the rubbish, knife and rug with the normal flaregun, didn't you? That's what I call 'overpowered' flaregun. You used it with the door to get in the factory... didn't you? And how could you open the suitcase? You need the knife for it! Anyway, I fear we have a screwed-up situation here. Dammit. You must've done something I wanted to avoid. Geez, didn't you talk to the reindeer to get another flaregun rocket which you combined with the empty flaregun??

Oh boy. No, in order to open the door to the factory I just switched to the hat guy and walked right in. Then when I came back out and talked to Artemis and gave HIM control, I waltzed right in. And I didn't talk to the reindeer because I didn't see any need in talking to that unfriendly character anymore. :)

Ok, I'll restart the game. No biggie biggie. At least I won't go around in a dead-end situation no moah.

BTW, in the situation I've just described? I still have the knowledge that there's THREE of Artemis, even though, as you know, I've already escaped that weird room.

Seems like I screwed some things up  :P

I just hate it situations like 'oh my, I've got 12 hours left to do 75% of the translation and beta-test this'. Feel lucky it even works... if I had entirely skipped the beta test, it wouldn't.

Still, having the three-of-me item still in the inventory is just annoying, that's everything. Enjoy the game and...

Sure I do. Like I said, I just didn't see any need - after all, once I'd got past the security door, I saw little need to turn back. ;)

I'm hunting Herbert, and I went to the IT level because the sign on the reception told me that's where he went. Now, thing is, I can't find him. Mostly what I want is reassurance that he is NOT the little green sqiare I can see behind the carboard CPU, because I can't interact with that, it's not a hotspot, and from previous experience I'd hate to go around in a walking dead if this happens to be -god forbid- another bug...
