I wouldn't mind if Brittens was held in beautiful downtown Taff's Well again

. For times, I'm not sure if June is any cheaper than August. August would give me more time to save, but I don't see too much difficulties as long as I am soon employed.

Since I am moving around mid-September I would probably just stay for a month like last year, wouldn't be spending any more money than I would coming home and sitting around for a month

I'd like it to be early July perhaps. At least before August. Easter wouldn't really suit me.

I'd vote for mid June, about the 15th is ok for most people in Uni I've heard. I think it's far away enough from Mittens.

I don't mind Taff's Well again, but if there's another place I'd also be interested in that, because I prefer to move it around to places I haven't stayed.

. While you are still seeking alternatives, I wonder if we might continue the timeframe discussion. The US Brittens wish-to-goers are planning on an exodus from NYC, and we have been largely thinking of mid June to take advantage of the rates, as we will have the most expenses. Though for myself the plan is to take a one-way to England and stay until the British Mittens folk leave for Toronto/wherever in July. Can we come up with at least semi-firm dates, or is it dependent on CJ's magical cabin availability report?

Uni for me finishes June 15th, I'm not going to Mittens so whenever. Just hold it, damnit.

That's term time for me, I will know for sure if I can or can't go at the start of June probably. If it's not too far from where I am and it is during term time, I should be able to go for a weekend.

I appreciate that this is getting to almost farcical proportions now, so I propose that if I haven't managed to get the details within the next 2 weeks we fall back on Plan B and decide some dates to return to Taff's Well.

It looks like overall late June is probably the best compromise of dates, because it's late enough for people to have finished university, but not so late that travel prices go sky high.

Don't worry, I am prodding the appropriate person and he has promised to get back to me. I haven't forgotten!
But as I said, I understand that those of you coming from abroad need to book flights, therefore if I haven't heard anything by next Friday it's probably best if we go for plan B.

Sorry for the delays guys, it's been as frustrating for me as I'm sure it has been for you. Anyway, at some point we have to just give up and go another plan, and I think that time is now.

Late June is preferable for me, since I'll have exams at the start of the month; and Mittens and other things happening in July.
