There is a trouble in this game, described here: http://www.agdiforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php1065

------------------------------------------------start--------------------------------------------
I've reached the ambush at the lake and can't get past it.  I'm unable to do anything (the cursor is a crown), and then the wolf leader kills Graham.

I've checked the hints -- thinking I missed something earlier -- and even gave in and looked at the walk through, but I'm not able to do a thing once I enter the lake screen.  I even tried slowing down the game to see if I was missing an opportunity to act, but as soon as the last piece of text disappears, the wolf leader slashes Graham and he dies.

Are you sure that the problem only exists in linux? Not a bug in the game?

I'm not quite sure as I'd never played this game but I think that part is a timed puzzle right? (Looks like one to me.)

In that case it's possibly a problem with the GetGameSpeed() not working bug in Linux, since that function is usually used for speed regulated games in timed puzzles it can cause troubles. Since that bug is not fixed at the moment, you may either ask AGDI to try to fix their game to not use that function, or give the savegame to some other person (or yourself if you can work with window$) to play through that part in window$ and give you back the savegame file.

Thank a lot for you answer! But I'm afraid that I should to start play this game from beginning in windows, cause this game was built in AGS version older than 2.71. There is incompatibility in save files, which was created by different versions.

Gilbert

Actually you may try playing the game using the V2.71 windows engine, bypassing the original engine in the game.

You may try finding V2.71 files from this page and use the acwin.exe included.

(It's still not guaranteed to work though, but worth a try if you don't want to replay all from the beginning).

Well, I tried to play under Windows, but the problem didn't go away. So, this is the incompatibility of different versions of interpreters.  :-\ Now, I must start from the beginning.
