I am playing this game, and stuck on the symbols for the washing machines, tried all combinations, brain dead! can anyone help please, thanks

you refer to the note that you found on the table, when you mention the symbols? Take a sheet of paper and hide the left or the right half of the four symbols :-) If not ask again for the correct settings.

Bring up the paper with the symbols on it,  get a piece of card and cover the left hand side of the symbols and all will be revealed. Good luck.
