Help with chords on a song

I'm a bit ashamed to be asking this, but I spent a lot of time trying to cover the chords from this song, but I just can't seem to get he hang of it today. And by time the song gets boring to listen to all the time. So I was wondering, we have musicians here who can hear the chords too, perhaps some of you could help me now, and I'll help you the next time as a favor, ok

The first strokes are just Am and F with some extra notes, then there is

Am F C G

twice, and on "this is", it starts with Dm and pretty much goes on like that.
I can't tell you the exact notes but these basic chords should be enough to play it, I reckon.
