Demo Games, or Open Source Games

Hi,

I lost my previous account since I was registered in 2004 and I think that they deleted mine, so I am back and this time I really want to create a game. The problem is: in the last version of AGS I got, I had a demo game to start with, in this 2.72 I haven't it.

I also checked out the resources and download pages for Open Source Games to start with, but there is only a broken link, so I hope I am not bothering anyone here by asking where can I find some AGS demo and/or OS Games I can start with?

Thanks in advance for any reply.

Where was the broken link you found?
The one in the 'READ BEFORE POSTING' thread at the top of the Beginners Tech forum works fine. Demo Quest 3 is still a work-in-progress, but what there is should work fine in 2.72.

The Modules, Plugins and Technical FAQ forum contains modules and templates to help you achieve various things, some of which come with demo games to get you started. And, of course, there's the Open Source Games page of the Wiki (no gaurentees that all of them will work in 2.72, but at least of the Coding Competiton entries should), or a Forum Search for 'Open Source' (which is how I re-discovered the Wiki page, and which may contain a few useful links I've missed).
I know what you're thinking ... Don't think that.

Well, so it doesn't work to me...

However I was referring to JuncGames under Main>Donwload>Resources.
It doesn't work either this nor the one you provided me.

I will check the wikipedia page.

Ah, the thread link works, but apparently the download links have bust. Sorry about that.

JuncGames is obviously an external site, so we can't always be on top of it if he changes the links on us ... Trim it down to http://www.juncmodule.com/ and you should be able to find the games - but I'm pretty sure all Junc's are on the Wiki page, and are probably for older versons of AGS anyway.

Trying to be the most polite I can be, I have tried from different computers the link provided: http://www.gaia-spa.com/project/ags/games/DemoQuest3Sod1-S0100-B03.zip and still it doesn't work.

I can't do more than this. Thanks.
