I do how ever object to your use of talking mushrooms which is an obvious reference to your objection to the banning of "magic mushrooms" in the UK.
Dammit. I always read to much into the wrong things >_<

I think most of the stripes were good, but a few of them were too "random" and non-sensical.
The one with the mushrooms growing all kinds of things was funny because the idea was original and it looked funny, but the one where he yells at the ants just seems like you forgot to add the punchline.
Graphic-wise, the mushroom series is very nicely illustrated, and you should stick to that and remove the other comics, just for consistency's sake.

I seriously dig those 'shrooms.

I semi-agree with Andail, in that the mushroom strip seems strong enough to carry the series by itself (although I don't agree about the ant strip).

Having said that, a lot of cartoonists drop otherwise unrelated strips into the mix every now and again, purely for the sake of doing something creatively different to their "regular" strip, so I wouldn't consider it a bad thing.

Also, the site design is very soothing.

The "non-shroom strips" in a "shroom-themed comic" kinda reminds me of Chef Brian. Ho ho ho, he is funny. Hope you don't mind the plug for Ctrl+Alt+Del, but this is one of my personal favorites, and IMO a good example of an "otherwise unrelated strip" working its way "into the mix."



The only problem I currently have with your webcomic is that there isn't enough there! Give me more!

I love them all except for the ants, I don't get that one either.  I can really relate to the procrasturbating comic, not so much to the penis-on-the-bike-seat comic, but it's hilarious anyway because it's a penis joke.

I stumbled it so maybe you'll get some extra random visitors soon.

Loved the mushroom strips, even the one about the ants. The nonsense (in a totally good way non-sensical) reminded me a bit of "sh*thouse", too. More of that- this is good stuff. Plus, possibly the safest way to *consume* shrooms 

Mushroom republic. There are *no other mushroom comics*. Mushrooms are *iconic*. They also taste nice, and make a great condiment. They are
novel. They totally compliment your style.

I thought they were all pretty funny. The absurd comedy that has been gaining popularity in webcomics is always going to be hit and miss. Every great comic has a bad one every so often. The ants one was almost there. I got the idea, but for something that simple, the drawing should be more of the focus. Like if the last frame was a super dramatic anime close up, it would be funnier.

I do think the mushrooms will get old, but you're a great artist Kinoko. You'll have no problem adding characters and comics and keeping them in the same style. I think it's great.

Definitely my kinda fun. You have talent, lady. I've seen people tripping on shrooms, but never before have I heard of shrooms tripping on acid.
